Bulky waste collections

Bulky waste sorted

Save a trip to the tip with a bulky waste collection

Canberra households are eligible for one FREE bulky waste collection per financial year of up to 2 cubic metres.

The bulky waste collection service is great for items too big for your kerbside bins such as old furniture and broken appliances. Consider selling or donating items in good condition.

Not all the items collected through the bulky waste service will go into landfill. Where possible, items will be reused or recycled.

Search the Recyclopaedia to find out how to recycle or dispose of specific items in the ACT.
