About the venue
The Albert Hall is a grand old building that you can hire for a range of events including:
- dances
- weddings
- festivals
- exhibitions
- fashion parades
- commercial sales
- musical performances.
Opened in 1928, the venue was designed by J Hunter Kirkpatrick, assisted by Robert Casboulte. Albert Hall is an example of the 1920s Federal Capital style of architecture.
The venue is unique in that it retains most of its original elements, including:
- arch-headed windows
- iconic pilasters
- Roman tiled roof.

Seating capacity
Albert Hall seats 360 in the auditorium (when arranged in a theatre setup) and 140 fixed seats in the gallery.

- 20 trestle tables (approximately): 760 x 1830
- audio system – PA sound system and lectern with built in microphones.
