About the venue
Constructed between 1916-1917, the Fitters Workshop is part of the historic Kingston Power House precinct. Designed by John Smith Murdoch, the building originally belonged to a wider industrial complex which carried out government maintenance works.
The Fitters Workshop has preserved architectural features like the high ceilings and large windows making it an ideal space for arts and cultural use.
You can hire the Fitters Workshop for:
- live music
- weddings
- art exhibitions
- various performances
- individual artist or community projects.
You can also hire it for other reasons which demonstrate an artistic or cultural connection to the Kingston Arts Precinct.
