CHARM
The Canberra Health Annual Research Meeting (CHARM) is an opportunity for researchers, students, clinicians, policy makers, consumers, carers, industry, administrators, leaders and partners across the ACT’s health ecosystem to come together, share their research insights and hear from national and international experts.
Any person can attend CHARM events to collaborate, network and strengthen different areas of research.
CHARM events also showcase the impact of health research in the ACT.

CHARM events are hosted by ACT Health in collaboration with:

- Australian Catholic University
- Health Care Consumers Association.
CHARM topics and presentations
Principal topics covered in the meeting span the National Health and Medical Research Committee’s four pillars of health research:
- biomedical
- clinical
- public health
- health services research
Areas of research can include, but are not limited to:
- nursing
- midwifery
- allied health and population health research
- data analytics and policy research
- pre-clinical and clinical research
- quality assessments and evaluations
The event features presentations from invited international and national speakers; oral and poster presentations from health researchers in our region; plus other exciting sessions and a series of workshops.
